Four in Hand Knot - The easiest and most popular knot
No need to get knotted up!
When tying four in hand knots, or any knot for that matter, you should stand in front of your mirror. This may be awkward at first, but with a little practice you should be able to get the hang of it by the fourth try. With your dress shirt on and buttoned, lift up the collar and wrap the tie around the back of your neck.
You are ready to start knotting up that tie! Simply follow the step-by-step instructions below and remember practice makes perfect knots!

Now give yourself a hand! You should have a perfectly knotted necktie. If you don't just keep trying until you can do it. Learning to tie a four in hand knot can be a little frustrating in the beginning, it took me about four times before I was able to successfully tie this knot.
One last thing to remember is to make sure the tie ends are of equal length or the wide end of the tie is a bit longer than the narrow end. Good luck!
